I saw one of the ex-friends this morning as I was leaving the house. Not a GOOD ex friend, not a close one, just one that gets lumped in with the other two. It really clicked when I saw her, all the havoc I could have created if I had wanted to a month ago.
I could have turned people on each other so easily & really revealed the amount of back stabbing that goes on in that
teen age clique group. This chick in particular, I could have had a field day with. Seriously. She actually has only one REAL girl, friend. She's ignorant, self absorbed & generally a shitty mother so no one cares to get close anyway. (No it's true, the mother thing. How many of you would let your almost 2 year old hang around the side of a pool without swimmies UNATTENDED & then say "Oh she needs to learn the hard way." when another adult states the obvious drowning potential? Or when your 3 year old falls out of bed, lands ON a radiator screaming and you don't even bother to check her but then panicing that the necessary ped visit the next day might entail a call to children & youth??? Yeah. I could go on FOREVER.) She is no loss. She also has no idea how much ALL of us know about her antics. She was almost in front of my house this morning as I came down the sidewalk & she said hi to me in a sarcastic tone. I was good. I did not say...
Have you beat up your daughter lately?
Are you not talking to your mom because she called children & youth on you, again?
Did you buy those new boots rather than Halloween costumes for your kids, like last year?
Hold your babies hand as she crosses the street.
Has your hubby had enough of your shit & left you yet?
_______says you are the WORST mother she has ever met in her entire life. Do you still give her a ride to the school in the afternoon?
It's CHILLY out & I see the baby has socks on. What makes today different than yesterday???
Instead of all that, I simply said good morning & continued talking to my girls.
Bigger person, no?
